Mulu National Park

Mulu is a tourist destination located at south-eastern part of Miri wth 100 km air distance.

Mulu National Park is located at the south –eastern part of Miri Division. At the moment, there is no access road from Miri to Mulu. The only access to Mulu is by air with a distance of 100 km.

The population in Mulu itself for the year 2009 is estimated at 5000 people. It is estimated that there are almost 100 tourists visiting Mulu National Park per day.

Bario Trip

There are big different of temperature between Miri and Bario. With the 34 oC at Miri Airport, unbelievable arriving bario with 28 oC. The night was cold with temperature about 19 oC......

The Batu lawi is a mountain before arrived to Bario. According to local "Travel Agency", the jungle trek to Batu Lawi will take about 2 days. A very challenging activity.
