Mulu National Park is located at the south –eastern part of Miri Division. At the moment, there is no access road from Miri to Mulu. The only access to Mulu is by air with a distance of 100 km.The population in Mulu itself for the year 2009 is estimated at 5000 people. It is estimated that there are almost 100 tourists visiting Mulu National Park per day.
